i rent a basement (private entance bathroom and kitchen, studio like area in a couples home and have leasing contract) which happens to be right on the tee of hole number 2 on an equisite 18 hole course on a country club. my question is, what if i just took my golf clubs, and went and played? could i get caught and if so how? potential consequences?
If caught, they would probably just give you warning. If they wanted to be crappy about the whole thing, because your not a member, it is illegal trespass. In most states this is a criminal misdemeanor, and can be punishable by a $50 fine and/or up to 30 days in county jail.
